    New Officers for 2009

Are there any anticipated or known changes to any of the Bucks Fire Companies?? Just wondering out loud. Hope all is well back East. Either it's been very quiet or no one is posting anymore. Merry Christmas to all. Be safe and stay healthy, Bob.

    Re: New Officers for 2009

Here are Yardley's officers for 2009:

    Chief 0 - Glenn Chamberlain
Deputy Chief 0 - Charles "Bubba" Schlosser
Assistant Chief 0 - Vince Habgood
Assistant Chief 80 - Tim Chamberlain
    Captain 0 - Bob Habgood
    Captain 80 - Ryan Matheson
    Lieutenant 0 - Larry Newman
    Lieutenant 80 - Charles Boss
    Lieutenant 801 - Sean Herbert

You'll notice my name is missing from that list for the first time in nine years.  Unfortunately, I have a few things in my personal and professional lives that I need to concentrate on and I will not be able to commit the time and attention to being assistant chief as I feel it deserves, so I have stepped down.  It wasn't the easiest decision for me to make, but I felt it was something that I needed to do, and it was much easier to make that decision knowing Tim and Ryan are more than capable of stepping up and taking control of that station and that the two new lieutenants bring so much to the table.

That doesn't mean I won't be running - I'll still be around....driving, riding in the back, fighting for the knob...

    See you on the fireground,

    Ken

It must have been a tough decision Ken. I wish you well in your professional and personal life and thank you for your past and continued presence and input on the forum. God Bless and I hope you have a safe year, Bob.
