I just updated the live feed, and made some changes in sound quality.  I also have moved the feed to my web site, so the delay is a little less.  Now I need some people to let me know if you can connect to it and tell me how it sounds.  Here is the new link http://www.secondalarmfirefilms.com/livescanner.html  so please click on it and make sure you have ActiveX on your web browers enabled and let me know how it works.  If this works, I will be deleting all the other links to the feed.  email me at tsteiner1@verizon.net or call me 267-784-0542 or nextel me at 116*6889 and let me know.

sounds great.  just fyi, i was on last night and there was some noises and voices (little kids) coming across. it actually sounded like they were playing a game... any ideas????  the voices would drown out the transmissions on the scanner.  just thought i'd let you know.

Testing some new software for the online feed.  please download this http://www.proscan.org/ProScan%20Client_2_0_Build_1.zip (its free) then email me for the server address. This is only temp right now but it will allow everyone to see the Bank Tag's (alpha-tags) and frequencies.  You will also be able to record all of the talkgroups.  A certain few will also be selected to "control" the scanner.  My email is tsteiner1@verizon.net  The old feed address will remain up all the time.  So you will not have to download anything if you don't want to.  I'm just playing around with some different ideas. 

Also as an FYI, you guys & girls have made this the busiest feed in PA & NJ.  Over 3000 connections per month.  Even people oversea's are listening on a regular basis.  30 states are represented.  The US Military, England, Spain, Germany, Mexico, Japan, Brazil are regular listeners.  The max connections have been raised from 50 to 100.  There is no less than 18 connections (even at 3am) The IP address that listens the most is a large Drug Manufacturer in Montco (we know who that is)

To everyone,

 I updated my firewall software,  So if you had problems connecting to the live scanner (4/8/08 between 18:00:22:30) Please try it again.  If you are still not able to connect to the live scanner feed, the one on the web site, please email me or call me. 

Also for those you who downloaded and tested that "new software" for me.  I recieved some good feedback from you.  Since there were sooooooooo many problems with you guys connecting.  I decided to drop that software.  So please UNINSTALL IT FROM YOUR COMPUTER, unless you like listening to those other feeds.  But I will not be using it to host a feed. 

Also I'm looking for someone in the lower end of the county to set up a live feed.  I will help you, give you all the tools you need.  You supply the computer, scanner.  I give you the software and host the scanner on my site for FREE.  Many people have been inquiring about just a Bucks County feed, this would be it.  So if you are interested, please email me or call me (267-784-0542 or D/C 116*6889)
