I agree Ray. not to mention the embarassment from the people in the park watching!! They saw it when they passed by it on the way in to the "real" hydrant. So they just did a little improvising on their part so as not to have to pick up the additional hose. Not really "funny, funny" tragic. just blessed nobody was hurt and no additional damage was done. It was abandoned in a rremote area of the park. The cause was mice playing with matches, officially!! No utilities.

Bob; you of all people in the biz should know better then to dis a chief while he's still in office. If Richey was still up here he would deck you!!!!! What you forget is that Dave has military background and what we do is dam close the how he was trained. The problem is that all of us would be commited for what we do because we run into fire when mankind runs away. Dave has the unick benifit of ( and mabey curse) of knowing what the enemy (FIRE) can do to us and all the time we spend at this job and all the training we do DOSE NOT give us the knowlage of the animal we are fighting, after sitting back for awhile and thinking things through I and most of our members of our job don't have a clue of what fire can do to us, it's a needed commodity but when set free destroys anything in it's path. The video was not shot from a passer-by and was a set-up!! Please think back and you as I can remember things we would like to forget. Vol"s Forever      Stumpjumper

Stumpjumper, since this is your first post we will give you a pass.   Make sure you review what you write before you send it.  Making a post with the number of grammatical errors you have made will only pull the focus from the heart of the post and focus it on your skills as a writer.  For your own benefit, review before you send.

Wow, after reeding stumpjumper's post on this topick and Cheef 33's post on the axadent, the grammar and spelling in the posts are unbelievable.  The Bristol Township and Pennsbury Skool Districts that serve Tullytown must be proud of the stoodents they turn out.

The malfunctioning equipment on the peace of aparatus is the less of you's trouble.  If i WHERE you's, I wood use the spell checker thing located at the top of the text bocks.  But that is only if I where you.

Re: Bad Day @ Home Depot

Wow 35 post on an abandon vehicle fire and all you can pick on is our spelling. I guess you didn't read this sentence in my post:

Those that know me can testify that my spelling really sucks but I will put down here the info that I can.

Stumpjumper will answer for himself but as for your offer about you being me no thanks I will pass.

Please come to Bobs class on how to post so I can meet you and put a face to the name Vollyman. I have also added spellcheck to my computer so what will you pick on next?
