    Notalk,

Nothing is wrong with TW-80; E-0 is due for replacement in '09 and with all of the houses in the boro that have been raised from the floods, along with all of the other older homes and buildings in the boro, it was decided that a quint would be more effective and versatile than a straight engine.

lt27,  pics can be found on 4guys website.  www.4guysfire.com

it is a peterbilt cab.  it is a very nice piece.  the guys from chalfont are more than happy with the quality of work, and turn-around time.

34's is the reason we decided to include 4guys in the prospective manufacturer's list.

    Re: Apparatus Happenings

An article on P. 50 of today's Bucks County Herald (a weekly freebie paper in Central Bucks) says that 46's sold a 1979 "engine" that appears to be the Tac from the limited piece of it I can see in the picture for $15k to the Kakira Sugar Works, Ltd. in Uganda.  The sugar cane farm owner was apparently a friend of a member of the company.  Shipped it through Belgium apparently.

Paper also says Springtown is getting their first brand new truck for more than $500k - no further details provided.

    Re: Apparatus Happenings

Tony - thanks for that.  Just an FYI - the old Eng 29-1 is being listed again on E-Bay - the guy who bought it is from the West Coast - having family problems - needs to unload it.

FPE - thanks for the New Hope update - very interesting.  Wonder what Springtown is getting ?

     Many thanks again,

     Bruce

I believe Warminster's ladder is going to Spring Mill (Montgomery County).  I see Spring Mill's old ladder for sale on PhillyFire.com

7 grand? Not bad for something that was given to you for free.

So that's 207,000.00 in the bank. What is to be purchasced next? I'm sure it's burning a whole in some one's pocket.

Andy, they also have a large generator and gear given to them that is for sale. Land behind station sold to local developer to build four houses. Not much left to sell.
