All fire locations shall be dispatched on the zone channel in accordance with
the procedures as outlined below.
Following the dispatch of an alarm on the dispatch frequency, the dispatcher
shall redirect the call to the zone dispatcher. Upon receipt of the call, the zone
dispatcher shall broadcast the following information: Sound alert tone proper
number of times for assignment, the box number, the address of the alarm,
and the type of alarm.
Example: "Tactical Box 90-11, fire is reported at 11 Grier Street, a dwelling."
When companies are responding from two zones, the broadcast will be made
on both frequencies.
