When a message is received for a company officer, the officer's tone for the
station will be dispatched to have that officer contact fire communications. If
the company does not have officer's tones, an attempt will be made via
telephone. If no contact is made via phone, then try the radio.
Fire department personnel requesting pages are requested to do so only for
essential messages, and should make an attempt to contact the individual via
telephone before requesting a page.
