When fire department box cards specify EMS response automatically on
certain fire calls, the ambulance will be dispatched at the same time in the
same dispatch as the fire department. For those departments, that do not
request an ambulance on the initial dispatch, they will get one on the report of
a working fire.
On any fire call where information is received for a possible rescue or a burn
victim with critical burns, facial burns w/respiratory distress, or electrical burns,
an ALS unit will be dispatched immediately.
