Advisory Board
Back to Manual
In most counties which have developed countywide communications systems, a group of people representative of the
respective public service community was formed to review administrative and operational needs of the communications
system.
The fire communications advisory board was created by members of the Bucks County fire community to recommend
administrative direction and operational guidance to Communications Department management for the efficient
operation of the consolidated fire communications network. This board has been created by resolution of the
Bucks County Board of Commissioners. The fire communications advisory board is made up from representatives of
the following:
Bucks County Fire Chiefs' Association (5 representatives)
- 1 from each fire district and 1 representative at large from the Chiefs Association
- Bucks County Firemen's Association (2 representatives)
- Bucks County Fire Marshals (1 representative)
- Bucks County Fire Police (1 representative)
